Flight 39
Saturday Nov 10, 2018
Saturday Nov 10, 2018
This week we're reading "Flight 39" by Phillip Peterson. If you had a time machine, what would you do first? Kill baby Hitler? Pft. Amateur. Try killing ADULT Hitler, you coward. That's what the intrepid hero of this week's episode does, and as you might predict, it's a barrel of laughs!

CapWar ELECTION

Saturday Nov 03, 2018
This week we're reading "CapWar ELECTION" by Brandt Legg. It's damn near election day, folks, and we're celebrating the occasion with a political thriller. Feeling anxious about the impending end of the world? Kick back, relax, and enjoy while you still have electricity and running water.

The Family Man
Saturday Oct 20, 2018
Saturday Oct 20, 2018
This week we're reading "The Family Man" by Amy Cross. Halloween month rolls along with another horror classic. This one is actually pretty fucked up and kind of upsetting, so to offset the depravity of it all, we spend a lot of time NOT reading the book. You know, just like every other episode.

Hickory Dickory Dead
Monday Oct 15, 2018
Monday Oct 15, 2018
This week we're reading "Hickory Dickory Dead" by Cheryl Bradshaw. The third installment in our Halloween series, this one isn't that spooky but is very sexually liberating. Seventy year old Maisie Fezziwig stumbles upon a grisly murder scene right after a night of ravenous love-making with one in a series of geriatric gentleman callers. While most would report this to the police and wash their hands of it, Maisie is a busy-body who starts to investigate. This is another award-winning episode where we talk about Taco Bell for twenty minutes for no reason.

Fat Vampire 2
Friday Oct 05, 2018
Friday Oct 05, 2018
This week we're reading "Fat Vampire 2" by Johnny B. Truant. What better time of year to catch up with our old sad-sack friend the FAT VAMPIRE than Halloween? Our hero is still fat and still a vampire, only this time he's mired in red tape, trying to navigate the confusing bureaucracy of the Vampire underworld. Spooky stuff!

Kids will love this tale of suicide, infant death, and turn of the century medical horror.

Monday Sep 24, 2018
Welcome to the Amazon Book Club CLASSICS EDITION, where we butcher books that we have no business reading. This week we're reading "The Old Man and the Sea" by the one and only Ernest Hemingway. You may know him as Mariel Hemingway's grandfather but believe it or not, he also had a knack for writing!

Murder, Mayhem and Mama
Saturday Sep 15, 2018
Saturday Sep 15, 2018
This week we're reading "Murder, Mayhem and Mama" by Christie Craig. HOT DAMN, this one's a thriller. Murder? Check. Mayhem? You bet. Mama? Well, frankly... not enough. Could have used more Mama. Here's a writing tip for you: Go heavy on Mama. If you think it's enough, it's not. Take whatever you have and double it. Can't have too much Mama.
